Transmission of Flesh

Transmission of Flesh constructs a recursive structure between two interconnected displays, in which the image is continuously transmitted from one surface to another, processed, and reintroduced into a loop. Flesh here no longer remains limited to a physical body, but becomes a form in transition, oscillating between image, signal, data, and residue. With each circulation, the image undergoes distortion, displacement, and transformation, preventing it from ever arriving at a stable or final state. Transmission therefore does not merely describe a technical transfer of the image, but a recursive process in which the system continuously alters and destabilizes its own visual output. Within the lower display, repetition and interference generate multiple shifting visual interpretations of the same form.

This condition is not contained within the image alone. Burned cables, damaged electronic fragments, and suspended electrical connections expand the system into space, functioning as infrastructural traces that carry signs of interruption, exhaustion, and decay – a system that continues to operate while bearing the marks of collapse throughout its components.
